Help us reach our startup goal to open Burlington VT's first cat lounge! You can help build a vibrant community asset - a safe space for cats and humans offering opportunities to connect, learn, lounge, laugh, and even adopt. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for community members of all ages through interactions with local adoptable cats rescued by the independent non-profit, Queen City Cats. Our lounge provides a playful and restorative space where individuals can experience the benefits of interacting with cats, while promoting the rescue and care of local strays.

Community Wellness: Queen City Cat Lounge programming will include: ­playful or quiet interactions with our cats, creative arts and activities for everyone from youth groups to older adults, support groups in our relaxed environment, movie and game nights, cat inspired boutique with products created by local makers, onsite cat adoptions (through the independent non-profit rescue, Queen City Cats), educational workshops and events on: responsible pet ownership, cat behavior, and more!

Local Cat Rescue & Welfare: Stray cat colonies are increasing in Chittenden County and throughout Vermont. Outdoor cats threaten wildlife and suffer from premature illness or death without caretakers. By investing in Queen City Cat Lounge, you are providing a safe space for stray cats to recover, socialize, and find a home that can provide them the care they need.
