Meet Chris Hansen:
He is a 46 year old friend with a loving wife, Erica, and his best friend “Maggy” his dog. Chris' family is much like any other family except that he has a devastating disease.
He has multiple sclerosis. Even though he will always tell you he is doing great with a smile, this terrible disabling illness continues to rob Chris of his life and his happiness. One year ago Chris needed a cane to walk. Now, he use a walker.
Where will he be next year and the year after? We can only guess. if something is not done soon his health can continue on a downward spiral. Fortunately there is something that can be done to help him. There is a procedure utilizing stem cell research with a 94% success rate that is through Stem Cells of America in San Diego, CA. and endorsed by The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The cost is approximately $22,000. Chris just can't afford this even though he and his wife work and do the best they can. As his friends we feel we have to do something. We are asking for your help to offset the cost of this procedure that he so desperately needs.
