Please Help a Family Burdened with Loss!

I started this Go Fund Me page for a co-worker of mine, Laurie Joy. Earlier this year, Laurie's mother passed away. Soon after, Laurie began complaining of headaches and sought medical attention.

In June 2023, after seeing a Doctor, Laurie had a stroke which caused her to be off work on a long-term basis.

On July 5th, Laurie's 18-year-old daughter, Miah wasn't feeling well and was brought to the hospital. A short time after, Miah was diagnosed with Blastomycosis. She was fully intubated due to both lungs collapsing and placed in a medically induced coma. She was flown to another hospital for further medical treatment. Miah appeared to be doing better and the breathing tube was removed.

Things took a turn for the worse and unfortunately, early this morning, August 1st, 2023, Miah lost her battle and succumbed to Blastomycosis.

Miah's mother and father are currently off work due to her mother's stroke and her father taking on the family responsibilities.

This family has endured a lot of hardship in the past few months. They now have added expenses of unexpected funeral costs and the financial burden of being off work.

As a result, I am asking that you donate anything you can to assist this family with financial assistance to pay for upcoming funeral costs and living costs while they are both off work.
