Hello friends and family, my name is Darlene Aragon-Peña and I am Flo Ramirez's cousin. We unexpectedly lost our dear Thomas in the early hours of February 7th and it has been a devastating blow to our entire family but to no one more than his beautiful wife and his precious 14-year-old son. He was their whole world.

Thomas was an outstanding husband, father, son, brother, friend, and so much more to so so many. He was fun-loving and so full of life, always putting others first and loving with his whole heart. He was one of the most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and there can be no possible doubt from anyone who knew him that the people he loved more than anything in this life were Flo and Oliver. He lived wholeheartedly for them and did everything he could to take care of them while always making sure to create beautiful memories and spend quality family time.

The one thing that my dear cousin should not be worrying about in this period of immense grief and heartbreak is money. Many of us can relate that the loss of your partner creates a serious financial burden in that half of your family's income can no longer be counted on; however, rent, utilities, gas, food, and all of life's expenses are still ever-present and does not wait for you to manage a sudden and tragic loss.

Thomas drove full-time for Lyft to have the flexibility to care for his own health needs, and while Flo works full-time, her sole income is not enough to carry her and Oliver through right now. If you can, please join in helping Thomas' family in this time of need. We are so grateful for any help that you can offer. Every cent will go to Flo and Oliver while they learn how to maneuver through this undesirable new chapter in their lives.
