Help Bring Saad Home for a Dignified Muslim Burial

Dear friends,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts that our beloved cousin Saad Shahid, who came to the United States with dreams of a better life for himself and his family, has tragically passed away. Saad faced many challenges and fell into severe depression, losing touch with us in recent weeks. Despite our best efforts to locate him, we recently discovered that he had passed away three weeks ago in Clark County, Nevada.

Saad's body is currently at Davis Funeral Home, and we are grateful that he has not yet been cremated. It is our duty and heartfelt desire to ensure that he receives a proper Muslim burial, in accordance with his faith and traditions.

Saad has no immediate family in the United States. We, his relatives from Canada, are raising funds so we can to bring him the peace and dignity he deserves. Our ultimate goal is to bring Saad’s body back to Pakistan so his parents can say their final goodbyes. If this proves impossible, we aim to give him a proper Muslim burial in the US.

Funds will be used for:

Transporting Saad's body to Pakistan or to a Muslim cemetery in the US

Funeral and burial services

Any legal and administrative fees

Any remaining funds will be transferred to Saad’s family
