Funeral cost and Education fund

I am a friend of Keith Embree . He was taken from us  suddenly in an accident on January 10th. His family lives in Nova Scotia and we are trying to help his family with the cost involved with a funeral as well as with Keith's daughter's education.  He was very proud of her and was looking forward to a visit back home in June to watch her graduate.  We have a pasta dinner memorial planned for January 24th at the Moose Lodge in Windsor.  We would like to be able to share with everyone at this memorial how much we were able to raise on Go Fund Me.  I can't imagine how his family feels with this sudden loss.  Our intention and hope is to help releive some of the stress related to losing a loved one. Keith and I  worked and played ball together. We hung out both on and off the feild.  I feel like he was an adopted little brother to me. He was a dedicated Montreal Canadians fan and was an all around great friend. He was always happy and had a smile that could brighten the day of anyone he met. How lucky am I to have had Keith as my friend? How lucky were we all to have known him? He will always be in our hearts and will forever be missed.
