Hi, my name is Kelly, and myself with other friends of Mike and Cristen have decided to set up this page for those that are able to donate. On September 10th Mike was involved in an accident where a tree fell on him. This cause several rib fractures, 4 which had to be plated, along with multiple compression fractures in his spine. He had surgery to repair some of the ribs that are displaced due to them puncturing his lungs. After 10 days in the hospital he was released to come home. Mike was home 3 days and started running fever. He was admitted back to the hospital due to bacterial pneumonia. He will have to undergo surgery again to clean out any infection, check the plates on his ribs and check a hematoma that developed under one of his incision sites. They have been in the hospital for another 10 days and will likely be there another week if not longer. He needs all the prayers he can get. Everyone has been so generous with helping out with food.

If you know Mike, you know he isn’t one that would ask for help, so, we his friends are doing it for him. This money will go to support medical bills that have already started piling in as well as household stuff, taking care of their children and to support Cristen as she continues to be able to stay with to ensure he gets the care he needs.
