My name is David Crosby. My friend and former colleague, Sharon Wynne, was in a horseback riding accident on 8-20-15 and broke her back. She sustained a T12 burst fracture & has worn an upper body brace since the accident happened. She did not require surgery but the hospital bill alone was almost $23,000, as she was in the hospital for 5 days. She was told she would be unable to work for atleast 6 months. Unfortunately this has been extended and she is still (as of February 2016) not cleared to return to work.
As Sharon recuperates at her family's home, she has started to sell many of her belongings in order to stay afloat financially and pay for her Physical Therapy and her personal bills.
Due to the extended time out of work, her health insurance ended on December 31, 2015 and now everything must be self self paid.
There's the time in life that we all need help. Even someone like Sharon, who always lead a very healthy lifestyle and worked so hard to take care of her responsibilities. She WILL get through this! We love you Sharon!!!
