In what now feels like a distant life, I was a software engineer, and our small home buzzed with the laughter of my children, Majd and Leen, and the warmth of my wife, Lama. Today, we find ourselves bereft of shelter, huddling for warmth in a makeshift tent, our days marked by an incessant struggle for the most basic necessities: food, clean water, and safety from the relentless bombardment.

The horrors we witness daily are difficult to convey in words. The streets where my children once played are now desolate, haunted by the specter of destruction.
