Melissa Bass Memorial Scholarship
On a night in May of 1994, we lost a beacon of light, hilarity, and a true friend to all who knew her. (And let's not forget that she was the first person in second grade to yell out a cuss word!)
For years, Melissa's parents kept the scholarship in her name funded. Now, the memorial scholarship needs a jumpstart again! We all know that Melissa was a Jupiter EL kid, and her mom was a teacher to most of us!
Mrs. Bass transferred to Limestone Creek Elementary the same year that we all went into middle school - they became her "family" and have helped keep the scholarship funded all these years! Melissa really wanted to go to the University Of Miami to major in Oceanography, but that dream ended in an accident just a week after her 17th birthday. Please help keep Melissa's Legacy alive by helping a student with college funds in her name! We are going to present anything given here to her parents on June 6, 2015 at the Memorial Scholarship BBQ that is happening in Jupiter! Thank You!
