Memorial Bench For Tim Sexton Near Bruichladdich!
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
This is Nancy Sexton, wife of Tim Sexton and I am asking for donations to fund a memorial bench that will sit along the Lochindaal Way on Islay, Scotland.
Tim passed away on May 22nd at the age of 44 after a 2-year battle with 4th stage cancer. Tim was an amazing fan of scotch whisky, in particular, Bruichladdich.
Now, we have the opportunity to dedicate a bench to Tim on The Lochindaal Way, which is the foot and cycle path that runs from Bruichladdich to Port Charlotte on Islay, Scotland.
This lovely walking path is where visitors bounce or stumble :) from distillery to distillery. This path has several benches for passersby to sit and rest, take in the views or have another dram.

I can't think of a better way to honor my beautiful, late husband than a bench where fellow scotch enthusiasts and friends can sit, raise a glass and appreciate the love that Tim had for his favorite part of Scotland.
The bench will be put in place by ICAG or the Islay Community Access Group. They are a charity that was formed some ten years ago to construct safe walking and cycling paths between the villages on Islay. These paths are now well used and have received high acclaim from many authorities.
Your donations will go towards purchasing and shipping a lovely bench, plaque, and placement of the bench for Tim as well as covering the cost of dedicating the bench and hopefully a nice donation to ICAG.
Thank you so much, and now we all have another reason to visit Scotland!
