Technology for Tusculum

Tusculum Elementary School is a high poverty/high English learners elementary school in South Nashville. My wife teaches 4th grade there and my kids go to 1st grade and kindergarten respectively. Diversity is both a blessing and a challenge at this school and I am not even going to take a guess at the number of countries represented by the children that make up the student body. About 25% of the kids in my son's class do not even speak english. Technology can help them learn english faster.

Unfortunately due to funds needing to be diverted to other pressing needs, Tusculum is lacking in technology resources. All I'm looking at doing is purchasing 7 IPad Mini's so that the kids can get experience. In today's world access to technology is essentential and I need your help. This school has great leadership and great teachers, I'm asking you to help them utilize those skills.

Psst...this all on me, with no help from the school's administration. I'm just a busybody parent who loves this school.
