Help for Blu

Hi everyone for those who know me I share the most beautiful malamute boxer mix “blu” with my beloved boyfriend josh. On Wednesday November 30th after putting blu outside like normal he came back inside and his neck was severely swollen and puffed up around where his lymph nodes are. We took him to the emergency vet where they wanted to do a bunch of different things, blood work, put blu under sedation for an extensive examination and aspiration of his mouth to see if pus came out due to infection. We were sent home with antibiotics I was able to get blu into his primary vet where they were able to get a biopsy of a swollen lymph node on his back leg. Blu has been acting like his normal self, eating and drinking just fine, playing catch and having zoomies etc. however we just received his biopsy results and they were not good news. Blu has a severe case of lymphoma… his vet expects maybe 3-6 more months with him. There are treatments such as chemo and steroids but those may not be effective due to the severity of his cancer. I have to mention that blu is only a year and 4 months old. Any donations will be appreciated as josh has spent the last bit of his savings to get blu’s testing done. Blu is a special boy he is one of a kind and will touch anyone’s lives he meets with his piercing blue eyes. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for our blu!
