Support Stacie's Fight Against Cancer

I am starting this GoFundMe for my niece, Stacie (Pumper) Ryks. Stacie was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer. She felt a lump and immediately went in for a mammogram the same day which ended up revealing 3 spots. Thankfully, the cancer is contained to her left breast but unfortunately it is also in her lymph nodes. The oncologist was concerned about it spreading to her brain. Thankfully an MRI showed it has not spread!

Because the cancer is in her lymph nodes, Stacie has to go through chemo prior to having any surgery. Stacie started her chemo on January 30. She will have chemo every 3 weeks for 4½ months. Once this is completed, it is hoped she will be able to do the surgery. Then she will either have chemo again or radiation after she heals from the surgery. Anyway, that is the plan as of now.

Stacie is only 33 and way too young to be going through this. She has 2 young children who don’t truly understand what their mom is going through at this time. All donations will go to medical expenses and contribute to her loss of income due to time off of work for all of her numerous medical treatments.
