Late Thursday going into Friday morning, no one ever imagined life would change drastically as it did what started as a search for our beloved Brandon Smith turned into a senseless murder. I am the grandmother of Brandon Jamal Smith & also his sole beneficiary. Brandon was 17 at the time & was chasing his dreams as being a professional football player. Brandon left behind 9 younger siblings and two grandparents who loved him whole heartedly including a host of family & friends! The family gladly appreciates all donations and will assure that everything will be used for a proper burial service for Brandon. Brandon shined light in every room he walked in, and showed the upmost respect to any person he came across. It’s heartbreaking to know that his life was cut short and robbed from him due to senseless drama! We hope that Brandon’s situation brings awareness to his peers & other youths in the surrounding areas, it’s time for a change & we pray that Brandon brings change. Brandon was an active football player for Manchester High School and it was his dream to play in the State Championship Game at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA that will be held today 12/11/2023 he may didn’t make it to the Championship Game but he made it to the biggest game with God & his angles.
