Help me complete my Master's degree

Donation protected
TL;DR: Non-EU citizens must pay the full intuition fee which is 5.000USD/37.500DKK pr semester. I need your help again to help me finish my Master's degree at Copenhagen University.
Thank you for the help to get me this far - I hope you can help me get all the way so I can make a difference in Uganda.

Hello everyone, my name is Daisy Asiimwe. I am a Ugandan woman from Mbale, Eastern Uganda. I was raised by my grandmother, a subsistence farmer in a small village on the slopes of mountain Elgon. We didn’t have a lot but my grandmother did the best she could so I could have a better life. Despite losing her to cancer in 2018, she would be so proud of how far I have come. I am currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark because I am on a remarkable journey pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Copenhagen. This dream wouldn't be possible without your incredible support!

Last year, I had a successful GoFund me campaign. Thanks to your generosity, I raised $7,523 enough to cover a semester's tuition and some living expenses. Your contributions were indeed life-changing, allowing me to continue my education after my undergraduate degree at Berea College in the USA.

However, unlike a majority of my peers in class, I have to cover my own tuition costs and I am not allowed to apply for any government assistance including rent assistance and SU because I am not an EU citizen.

Students from non EU countries like Uganda are required to pay $5000/37.500DKK in tuition every semester.

Given my family's inability to financially support me, I turn to ask you for help. This help is aimed to help me with the biggest financial burden which are costs associated with covering my education costs.

Here's where I need you help again:
Goal: I need $11,000 to cover tuition for the remaining two semesters.

Impact: Your contribution will directly empower me to complete my Master's in Global Development. This degree equips me with the skills and knowledge to make a real difference in my home country, Uganda.

Why Global Development?
After a semester at the University of Copenhagen, I am enthusiastic and more certain that I made the right choice to pursue a degree in Global Development. So far, I have had the opportunity to learn, network and work with like minded people from different backgrounds but all of us share the desire and passion for positive change in the world. I'm dedicated to using my education to inform and guide my involvement in community building projects with Mercy Scouts International. As a member of Mercy Scouts, my education is another step in advancing the organisation to make a better impact in empowering less privileged communities in Uganda and thus tackle some of the critical development challenges.
Your Support Matters!

I'm incredibly grateful to Karen, Johannes, their families, friends, and the Lystrup scout friends who visited Uganda. Their ongoing support and your generosity have been instrumental in my journey so far.

With your help, I can achieve this academic milestone and contribute meaningfully to the world.
Please donate what you can. Every bit counts!

Thank you for believing in me and my dream!

Sincerely,
Daisy Asiimwe

P.S. Feel free to share this campaign with your network!

P.S.P.S If you want some good coffee, take a look at Spejderkaffe (Scout-coffee.com). The profit goes to help Mercy Scouts in Uganda. I write about the impact that every cup of coffee has and help you see the bigger picture about coffee, scouting and global development.
