GWHS Road to Gold

Hello, my name is Louquanda Hines-Whitmore and I am a Family and Consumer Science teacher at George Wythe High School. Recently, I had 6 students to compete in Virginia's FCCLA STAR Events, and all of my students received medals for participating in a STAR Events project. STAR stands for Students Taking Action with Recognition! 2 out of our 6 students who competed on a state level qualified to compete and present their project on the National level in Denver, Colorado. Congrats to Lucila Resendiz Torres and Nariyah Clark on their achievements.
