Please help me with a new start

Hi, my name is Lisa.

Currently I am living in a homeless shelter in the GTA. I have been homeless with my dog Dottie for almost one year and a half.

Upon eviction and subsequent hospitalization from my previous residence my ex-husband placed all my belongings in a storage unit.

The fees for the storage unit were manageable up until this past month. I sold my car in order to keep paying the fees until permanent housing could be found for me. Those funds have now been depleted and I am asking for any assistance to pay these fees before the unit is put up for auction. The contents contain some irreplaceable items that can not be replaced.

I received some positive news from my housing worker that I am at the top of their list for housing, as they have a priority list. Our goal is to retain housing before Christmas this year. Which means I should only require enough to cover a couple of months. Each month costs $490.00 before late fees are applied.

Please, please help me with anything you may be able to spare and I will be eternal grateful.
