Pilgrimage to Rome

Hi, my name is Angela and I’m fundraising for my senior class pilgrimage to Rome in spring. In the beginning of this summer, my class was given the total pricing of this pilgrimage (split up into 3 total payments throughout the year) and the different dates in which each portion of the money is due. I currently have 2 jobs, one with my uncle and one with my dad. I don’t have my dad pay me because he already provides so many other things for me, including the opportunity to attend a private catholic school. I give back by helping assist him, to lighten his load. As summer has gone by, my uncle hasn’t needed me to come work as much because things are starting to slow down to the point where I only work 1 or 2 days a week. I’ve applied for almost 10 different jobs in the last 2 weeks and haven’t been able to get any of them. I understand that many companies would rather have someone who isn’t going back to school in a couple weeks, and who’s only able to work one day a week once school starts (which is my current situation). I love working and I’m very ambitious (and anxious) about getting another job to be able to pay for this pilgrimage, and any other things I might need throughout the year. The first portion of money ($1000) is due September 30th. I don’t have anything near that amount and school is about to start in August, leaving me with very little time to go out and make money. The total amount is estimated to be $3500, not including any personal purchases that I’d like to make while being in Rome. I plan on selling baked goods and candy bars whenever I have free time to go out and fundraise for this. I could really use some help reaching my goal. In return, I’d love to bring any intentions of those who funded me on the pilgrimage and pray for you. I might not be able to physically give back, but that’s the least I can do for such generosity.
