Helping one of our own
Donation protected
ATTENTION ALL EMS, FIRST RESPONDER, FIREFIGHTER, LAW ENFORCEMENT, FRIENDS AND FAMILY. We have a brother and sister in need. Retired El Dorado Fire Captain-Paramedic James "Jamie" Goodwin and now Arkansas Fire Training Academy EMS Coordinator was injured in an accident while hunting on 11/26/2020. He was rushed to Medical Center of South Arkansas where he was stabilized and transported by helicopter to UAMS in Little Rock. There he has had multiple surgeries already and more to come. He will have a lengthy road to recovery with physical therapy, home health, and more hospitalizations. His wife Tami Poole who is a former law enforcement officer and currently a Paramedic at Ouachita County Medical Center has been off for a surgery herself and will have to take additional days off to help care for him. As we all know everyday expenses continue but now they are adding additional medical expenses, traveling to and from the hospital and doctors visits, not to mention how much this will cost overall. These two have been selfless public servants all their careers helping others. Now it's time for us to help two of our own who need us now more than ever. Any amount will be a blessing and if you cannot donate money please donate with continued prayers for Jamie and all his family. Thank you all for your help and God Bless.
