Qld bushfire rips through family home taking pets

Hi, I’m Sara and I’m putting this fundraiser together for my dad, nana and best friend who have lost their home to a devastating bushfire. This was our family home and there’s hardly a scrap of it left to the world.

We lost three beautiful cats and just about every possession we cared about. Unfortunately, due to the rising cost of living, my dad had been unable to pay insurance on the property for almost a year. I’m putting this fundraiser together to help get him back on his feet and rebuild, as we simply could not see our family parting with this property and all the cherished memories it holds.

Rebuilding will never bring back the lives of our three beloved pets, but we plan on sticking around to see the trees we have planted for them grow over many years.
