We were so excited, she was to be born October 11, 2015. We watched her as she grew inside of the only home she knew. My pregnancy had been going well, things were progressing at what seemed to be normal. Though that all changed in the blink of an eye. I began to develop preclampsia, my doctors were concerned about my blood pressure and the protein they were finding in my urine. I was put on bedrest and no matter what it took, I was listening to the doctor. We were going in for tests and an ultrasound. The doctor seemed concerned, so they set us up for a high risk ultrasound. The day of that ultrasound, I awoke not feeling well, I was having cramping and called the doctor. They said to keep my appointment and if needed, go to the ER. I couldn't feel the baby moving, I was scared so Trevor took me to the ER. We arrived, scared and afraid. They ran some tests, and it was then we learned that we had lost our baby. The doctor wanted me to deliver her so we would be able to have future children. They kept me monitored closely as I had developed a condition that could result in death. It was a long night, they had me hooked up to machines and monitors and all I wanted was to go back to the day before....Our families were surrounding us with love. Trying as best we could to get through this. Nothing prepares you for this.....I finally went into labor and on Friday, August 21 our baby was born. She weighed 2lbs 6 oz. She had Trevor's nose and my lips. We had already had a name picked out, but we werent sure if that is what we wanted to call her.
One of our nurses from the night before, came in the day of her birth. She had brought us in an angel with a story from her previous patients. They too had lost a baby. She gave them that angel to help them through. They took the angel and kept it with them and then when it was time, the came back to the hospital to give birth to another child. They gave that same nurse back the angel and she held onto for 20 years until she gave it to us that day. We will hold her tight and return it to the nurse when the time comes and we deliver another child. Our daughter, whom we name Angel Isabella, will always be a part of our family. Weloved her when we conceived her, we loved her while I was pregnant, and we will love her into eternity. We will make sure her siblings always know of the sister that got her wings.
We are asking for your help in raising money for funeral expenses, unexpected medical bills that have come from this traumatic time. We appreciate your love, your support and your encouragement during this time of need.
Thank you so much and much love from our family to yours.
