Our beloved kitty, Xena, a 13-year-old Siamese cat, has been diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a devastating and often fatal disease causing her abdomen to fill with fluid and also major neurological deficits. Xena has been an irreplaceable part of our lives since she was just a kitten, and the thought of losing her is unbearable.

For those unfamiliar with FIP, it is a viral disease that affects cats, causing inflammation throughout their bodies. The treatment options are limited, and the costs associated with providing Xena with the best care are staggering, totaling over $5000. However, we firmly believe every life, especially Xena's, deserves a fighting chance. We are grateful that we have a treatment option, but we need your help. She is very ill and we are in a time crunch to get her the treatment she needs.

Xena has always been a source of joy, comfort, and love. Her playful nature, gentle purrs, and warm presence have brought smiles to our faces during both the happiest and most challenging times from the moment we began dating, moved homes, and our entire marriage. She has been a constant companion, a loyal friend, and an unwavering source of support. With your help, we hope to extend her life and create more cherished memories together.

We have consulted with veterinarians specializing in FIP treatment, and they have recommended a promising experimental therapy that offers a glimmer of hope. However, the cost of this treatment is substantial, and we are unable to shoulder the financial burden alone.
