For Vanessa...

Donation protected
As many of you may know, a few months ago, Vanessa shared that she was experiencing some concerning health issues, at one point including loss of conciousness. In an effort to identify the cause of these issues, a CT scan was completed, and unfortunately, it revealed that Vanessa had a malignant Anaplastic Astrocytoma tumor the size of a small egg in her brain. Vanessa was diagnosed at Stage 3 and is using chemo and radiation treatments to shrink the tumor in the hopes of shrinking it enough so that it might be removed without any further damage.

As if that wasn't enough, Vanessa was recently admitted to the hospital for bilateral (double) pneumonia, which has caused the acute respiratory failure and has left her unable to breathe without the help of a machine. Vanessa is on around-the-clock antibiotics to treat pneumonia, and we're hopeful that she'll be on the mend and released from the hospital soon.
Vanessa is a fighter; that's no secret and we want to make sure she knows that she's not in this fight alone. Once Vanessa is home, she'll need to focus all of her energy on her treatment, which, obviously, will also take a toll on her health and her ability to make ends meet.
We're asking folks to donate any amount of money toward Vanessa's rent and basic needs as she completes her treatment.

Thank You,
The Chavez Family
