In 2025 I have been given an amazing opportunity to explore and volunteer in Cambodia. Where I will learn about its traditional cultures and fascinating history. Not only that but during my 4 week visit, I will be playing an active part in vital project work in order to improve the lives of those living in a rural community. Cambodia remains one of the poorest countries in the world. Lack of employment and seasonal food shortages leave people who are living in these rural areas vulnerable. In order to make an impact I will be taking part in projects such as constructing water storage pots , improving infrastructure of local schools and refurbishing community buildings.
In addition, I would also like to devote this fundraiser to Cancer Research UK. Their incredible work has been instrumental in saving countless lives through their dedication to vital research, treatment, and support. They have helped support millions of families throughout Britain including my own and those close to my heart.
