Please Help A Struggling Family

My name is Jason Claypole and I am desperately trying to raise funds for a family close to me.

The object this fundraiser is to try and get a family to have a positive new start to 2024. They have to date lost 2 children, 1 to SIDS and 1 to suicide.

Their daughter Amber (14 yeas old) was to fly to America with her family but due to funeral expenses cannot afford this trip.

This is a fundraiser for CJ, Karma and their family.

Just before Christmas their beloved Dylan took his life at the age of 20. Dylan was the second child CJ and Karma outlived, with their son Jadyn dying of SIDS before he was 3 months old.

As you can imagine, being without Dylan has devastated the whole family, a family that was already struggling. This has been compounded by Christmas, their first without Dylan, with many more “firsts” to come.

Ethan, their youngest, is profoundly autistic, non-verbal and entirely dependent on his Mum and Dad at nearly 11. Ethan and Dylan had a strong bond that has been forever shattered. Amber, their middle child, is 14 and doesn’t fully understand what happened or why.

The distressing reality in the aftermath of an already unimaginable tragedy, is that Dylan’s funeral was not an expense CJ and Karma could possibly have been prepared for.

This has meant that money set aside for other things, including Christmas presents and for Amber to attend a cheerleading competition in 2024, is gone. This was

money that has been saved over 3 years.

We, CJ and Karma’s family and friends, think that Amber, Karma and CJ deserve something positive in 2024.

Amber has been working towards this for 5 years, her cheerleading team won this opportunity through hard work and determination. We’d love to be able to raise the funds to replace what they’d saved for this trip as it is an

opportunity for a family that is suffering, to spend some quality time together.
