Help with Tom's medical bills

Anyone who has raced the Bee Farm road races, worked with CX of the North, or been involved with the local cycling community for any amount of time knows Tom Carter.   Not only is Tom Dad to 2 awesome kids, he is a good guy who is always there volunteering his time to make things happen for others.  He helps with the local wounded rider program, runs bake sales to raise funds for cycling teams, and is always available to help when folks are in need.  Now our friend Tom is the one in need.
 
Tom was hospitalized Monday night and is in the ICU. He is critically ill after rupturing his esophagus. He had surgery Monday night- part of his lung was removed. He is sedated and on a ventilator. They are hoping to remove the vent today (November 6, 2015).
He cannot have visitors at this point. It is going to be a long and expensive road to recovery for Tom. 

Besides requesting the obvious prayers and positive thoughts to bring him through his ordeal, we are raising funds to help him with the medical costs that are being incurred for his care and those costs that will be associated with his recovery. 

Tom, his family, and the community will be thankful for any and all help in getting him well again and back on his feet.
