My daughter Matildas cancer journey

A little update for those following her journey, things haven’t gone to plan unfortunately, her echocardiogram shows her heart is not liking the chemotherapy she’s having, it’s got weak, so one of her chemotherapy treatments has been stopped and is having 2 more of the other one, then we call it a day, which means she can’t finish treatment she has lost a lot of her hearing also, we are still not sure what this means for her outlook in the future and if it has more of a chance of coming back or not yet
Hi, my name is Naomi, in March this year, my darling 19-year old daughter Matilda was diagnosed with chondroblastic osteosarcoma of her lower leg, we were all absolutely devastated.
She started chemotherapy in April and has been absolutely gruelling, she has been rushed to hospital many times with sepsis and has suffered from horrible side affects. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago Matilda underwent an above knee amputation and has been recovering at home since, she is due more chemotherapy in the coming months.
Her treatment is based at University College Hospital London and we spend lots of time up there, her younger sister and brothers miss her very much when she is receiving her treatment, unfortunately Matilda lost her father 4 years ago to pancreatic cancer, it’s been a very rough journey and still has a long way to go
Any funds raised will go towards travel, expenses and treats anything we raise will be such a great help and would appreciate any help so much.
Thank you for reading!
