Innocent Boutique Destroyed and Looted

Donation protected
After the demonstrations in response to the tragic murder of George Floyd, many small businesses in Los Angeles were unfortunately ransacked, looted, and otherwise destroyed. As many of you already know, my aunt’s store, Bliss on 3rd, was one of the businesses affected, and it was hit hard this past weekend. In a matter of minutes, her whole livelihood was taken away from her. Not only was her store left in ruins, but hundreds of thousands of dollars of inventory was stolen. She has nothing left other than an immense amount of physical damage and no inventory to even try to rebuild. Unfortunately, her small business insurance doesn’t cover theft or damage by rioters/looters, so it was a total loss. After attempting to file a police report on Sunday, she was told to “come back next week”. She is an immigrant, a single mother, and someone who worked tirelessly and put everything into her small business. She proudly served the community for sixteen years and always made herself available even in off hours. Needless to say, she is absolutely devastated and heartbroken.

I know times are extremely difficult; however, if you are able to, please consider donating to help her rebuild and get back on her feet. If not, please consider sharing to spread the word. Thank you all!
