Ms. Mandola's Educational Fund
Tax deductible
Hi, my name is Ms. Mandola, and I’m a math teacher at a public middle school in the south Bronx. We are a Title 1 school, wherein 95% of our students qualify for free lunch.
My students are hilarious, collaborative, creative and resilient. They inspire me every day to be a better teacher and person... and to do right by them and their families. They are the reasons for and beneficiaries of this fund.
My end goal has always been to set my kids up to successfully navigate and graduate from high school, but what I’ve noticed is that, after they leave us, they often lack the financial resources to fully achieve that goal. Educational expenses go beyond school supplies and books, and that's where this fund comes in.
Ms. Mandola’s Educational Fund will be utilized to better financially support my current and former students moving forward. My students will apply for grants to pay for tuition, school uniforms, sports equipment, books, test prep materials, field trips, school supplies and lunch cards. Your donation will go directly towards helping close the opportunity gap for children who I personally know and love.
This fund is being created with my financial educational savings partner, Credit Do, with whom I’m ecstatic to work this upcoming school year in teaching my students how to learn, work and save.
Credit Do's mission is to deliver the first debt-free generation. Credit Do is a non-profit dedicated to making financial independence a reality for all. They create unique opportunities for purchasing food, clothes, school supplies and other essential goods in exchange for doing social good. Think of them as Smarter Barters™. By leading relief efforts that meet their community's specific needs, participants earn credit to local businesses and cash contributions that jumpstart their savings accounts.
Thanks in advance for your support!
