Help Our Sweet Maddie Get a Heart Transplant
Donation protected
Dear compassionate souls,
Cindy Perrin and Mary O’Hara are writing this on behalf of our amazing niece, Madison Miller. Madison, a 24-year-old Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), has dedicated her life to caring for others. Today, we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for help as Madison faces her own health crisis. She urgently needs a heart transplant to survive, and the overwhelming burden of medical expenses has left us searching for support. Through this GoFundMe campaign, we humbly ask for your assistance.
Madison has always been driven by a deep desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. As a CNA, she devotes herself to providing compassionate care and support to those in need. Her kindness, humor, and generosity knows no bounds, and she selflessly puts others before herself every day. However, fate has dealt her a devastating blow. Madison was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, a severe heart condition, and is in congestive heart failure that has left her fighting for her life.
The doctors have informed us that a heart transplant is Madison's only chance for survival. We are incredibly grateful for the advancements in medical science that have made this procedure possible. However, the financial burden associated with care before she can even receive such a complex surgery, and the subsequent lifelong care, is staggering. Madison's insurance coverage falls woefully short, and we are left with no choice but to turn to the kindness of friends, family, and strangers like you.
The cost of a heart transplant, including surgery, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing medical care, is overwhelming. It is a heavy burden that we cannot bear alone. We humbly implore you to join us in supporting Madison by contributing to her medical expenses. Your donation, no matter the amount, will play a pivotal role in giving her a chance at a long life. It will not only alleviate the financial strain but also provide the emotional support she needs during this difficult time.
Every dollar raised through this campaign will be dedicated to Madison's medical costs and the arduous journey of recovery that lies ahead. Your contribution will not only fund a life-saving procedure but also invest in the life of a remarkable young woman who has devoted herself to caring for others. Madison's dream of making a difference in the world is still alive, and with your help, she can continue to touch countless lives.
If you are unable to contribute financially, please know that your moral support and the act of sharing this campaign are equally valuable. Together, we can create a wave of compassion and love that will help Madison find a suitable heart donor, undergo the transplant, and continue her remarkable journey as a CNA.
Thank you for taking the time to read Madison's story and for considering supporting her in this critical time. Your kindness will not only save her life but also serve as a testament to the power of unity and compassion. Let us come together to help Madison receive the life-saving transplant she needs, allowing her to continue her incredible work and bring comfort and healing to others.
With deepest gratitude,
Cindy Perrin and Mary O'Hara

Update:
Today on July 12th, Maddie went to see a cardiologist in Tampa for further treatment. Here's a message sent to us on Maddie's heart:
Okay guys, Maddie had her consult with Tampa. I’m going to try and simplify this. She has an Echo already scheduled for September, she needs a cardiac stress test done and based on those 2 tests, they will tell us how fast we need to move for interventions. She will most likely need a defibrillator inserted soon and if the test results are not good then looking at having a pump installed, that would mean she would have her chest opened up. If her results a very low then she will need a transplant very soon. I asked the dr if she will need a transplant at some point and she said yes, I asked about a timeline and was told very likely within 2 years. But right now just to continue on the meds, keep the life vest on, get the tests done and hope for the best. They did say it wasn’t from the Covid vaccine cause there wasn’t scaring on her heart that would have been there if it was caused by that. Also they are going to do genetic testing even though we don’t have any history to rule that out. The dr said they wouldn’t really know until they take her heart out. so that’s it, keep her in your thoughts and prayers!❤️
