Gris Finally Has A New Kidney!

For seven years my sister Gris has been living with kidney failure and dialysis. But on December 6, she received the call that a donor was found and by December 7 she had a new kidney!

Gris' family has worked hard to take her to dialysis, doctor appointments, and maintain jobs to pay for necessities. The next few weeks are going to require extra care and I am planning on going to Kansas to help care for my sister and take her to appointments so the rest of her family can continue to work.

While we are all happy and grateful for this opportunity for Gris to live a full and healthy life again, there are still many obstacles to overcome. Recovery will be long and new medications are going to be very expensive. My wish for my sister is that she can begin this new chapter of her life with out the burden of a large debt. That is why I am creating this page. 

No donation is too small and every dollar is equally appreciated. I know that for many this is a difficult time of year to be generous, but every dollar offered here will be used for medical expenses. She's come so far in this battle...please help me give her a fresh start!
