Pancreatic cancer

My name is Melissa Rico & I am a 48 y/o single mother of 2 kids. Back in 2000 I worked at St. Luke’s catholic school in extended care along side my older brother Eddie & his wife Angie. When I left the school I then became a foster parent to a beautiful baby girl, & when that journey came to an end I asked God to show me my true calling in life. He showed me my dream Of becoming a small business owner & I’ve been serving residents of San Antonio since 2009. The pandemic has drastically affected my work/income which has led me to file for unemployment, I have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer. Because of that I am unable to return to work to do what I loved the most. With my current health conditions my insurance has many limitations not covering my test, co-pays, meds & other specialist appointments, meaning I’m unable to see certain doctors. so with that being said any donations & prayers are greatly appreciated as I go on this journey.
