Support for the Sullivan’s

Hi, my name is Tres Sullivan I am raising money for my Grandparents David and Donna Sullivan for their daily/monthly/medical expenses as my Grandpa David is in the hospital and recovering.

My grandpa went in for a simple surgery 12/13/2023 and had some complications which caused his bowels to fall asleep and had double pneumonia on top of that. Before he could leave his bowels had to wake up and be better sick wise. On 12/22/2023 he got sent home. His pain didn’t get better, it worsened and he wouldn’t eat. By the night of 12/24/2023 the ambulance was called and grandpa was transported back up to Cox in Springfield, MO in the ICU.

They ran a swallow test and grandpa’s food wasn’t going to his stomach because his esophagus is now paralyzed. He also has fluid in his stomach that has been getting drained. They put him on a ventilator to let his body rest and did surgery 12/31/2023 to repair an ulcer. His surgery went well. He’s on a feeding tube due to not being able to eat without aspirating and can’t swallow.

My grandpa has a very long road to recovery ahead and my grandma hasn’t left his side. Grandpa will be in the hospital for an extended unknown period. My grandma has taken off work for the time being to be with the love of her life.

Unfortunately, bills don’t stop in times like this. The money raised will go to medical, home, gas, food, and other expenses they’ll need in the coming days and months. If anyone knows my grandparents they’ve helped people their whole life and now they need our help. Even if you can’t donate please help by sharing. God’s got this.
