Local family loses home in house fire

Hi, my name is Katy Munoz & I am raising money for my lifelong friend’s family. Alejandra, Alvaro, & their 3 boys lost their home in a house fire on Christmas Eve. They went to bed & woke up an hour later to the smell of smoke, Alejandra ran to get the two youngest & Alvaro ran to get their eldest boy, they all ran out with nothing but what was on their body. Alejandra was only able to run back in & rescue their 2 dogs. Everything they’ve worked for was lost, years of savings, job equipment, including vehicles. Alejandra & Alvaro have lived in Macon County for 20+ years, they are hard working parents & newly grandparents. This family has touched hearts in our community - they are the most kind, selfless, & giving people. I am asking the community to come together & help them recover. All proceeds will go directly to the family. Any amount is helpful - I along with this family are thankful for anyone who is able to help!
