Help support Elesine and her son, Erighan

It is with great sadness that I am asking my compassionate Vancouver community for help today. My friend, Elesine, a 20 year Kitsilano and East Vancouver resident, has lost her battle with late stage 4 breast cancer and has been given a mere 2-4 weeks to live..

Elesine is a single mom to her wonderful and caring young son Erighan, with no other family in their lives. They have been inseparable, supporting each other through all that life has thrown at them but now, they must come to terms with the harsh reality that this life partnership will soon end and that Erighan will be on his own, in guardian care.

Elesine’s last wish is that her young son can pursue his life long figure skating passion when she is gone... you see, Erighan is a gifted athlete and figure skater who has landed double axles since the tender age of 11 years old! He is such a passionate, strong and caring young man and his mom’s only wish is that he is loved and supported in pursuing his dream.  You never know, but your help may just send the next Canadian figure skating gold medalist to the Winter Olympics!

To help Elesine realize her last wishes for her son, and somewhat ease her pain and anxieties about his future, I am seeking help from my wonderful community to raise $100,000 to support Erighan’s figure skating training, equipment and living expenses so he may achieve his dreams and somehow, help lessen his grief of losing his mom at such a young age.
