In Loving Memory of Larry Short... ❤️

Dear Family, Friends and Community.

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to share heartbreaking news about Larry Short, and to request help from those who knew and loved him (and who continue to love his wonderful family).

On Monday, Sept 18, 2023, tragedy struck while Larry was alone on a job and was later found unresponsive. While some of the details are still unclear, Larry had passed away before he was found. As many of you know, Larry had battled health issues for a while, but he was doing well and his passing was both sudden and shocking.

We are reaching out to his community of family and friends to ask for your help in filling the tremendous gap and the burden that now falls on his family. His wife Tasha and their children Braxton, Laney and Forrest are so strong and putting on a brave face, despite such a tragic loss. But we also know that the financial impact of a future without Larry will soon be a new reality.

We would love to support the Short family by helping to take away some of the added stress of expenses, bills, and the loss of his support for his loving family. Larry was an incredible husband and father (as well as son, brother, uncle, and soon to be grandfather), and many were so lucky to call him a friend. His quiet presence was quickly forgotten as you discovered that underneath was someone who was incredibly funny, quick-witted and loving. There was nothing better than a resistant “side-hug” from Larry.
