As many of you know, my uncle passed away two months ago from ALS. For those unfamiliar with ALS, it is a debilitating and fatal disease.

In memory of my uncle, I have decided to challenge myself and complete a cycle from Toronto to Niagara Falls September 4th. This route is 140km, and I will be aiming to complete this cycle in 1 day! I am a newbie cycler so this will be quite the challenge. I have created an Instagram account cycle4als2022 where I will put updates on training and updates on the day of so you can follow along.

All donations for this cycle will be forwarded to a research lab in Massachusetts. This particular lab is devoted to finding a cure for ALS. The link to read up on the lab is included below. My uncle put a lot of faith into this research lab, and I, too, hope that they can find a cure for ALS!
