Help this family find a home

I met Brooke earlier this year.
Brooke is a doting mother to her gorgeous son, Oscar. She is an ex-military woman who served in the army before a knee injury ended her military career.
The single mother recently purchased a house in Queensland for her and her son to live in. She was doing what any mother would, providing with her very last dollar.
After settlement, she discovered that the house she had bought and moved into had significant category 3 sewage leaks.
Category 3 water damage situations are classified as situations where water originated from a black water source. Black water poses a very significant threat to human health as it can carry a wide variety of pathogens and allergens
The previous owner, and real estate agent all appear to have known about the extent of the leaks, but failed to disclose it to her at the time of sale. The house even passed a building and pest report when it is now clear, this never should have happened.
She has home insurance. But they won’t cover her because the seller had already made a claim with respect to the damage with another insurer before he sold it. Basically, it was sold while the insurance claim was ongoing.
The insurer involved has had limited dealings with Brooke even though she is the owner of the house. Recent home inspections have declared this home uninhabitable. There have been talks about knocking down the house, but never with Brooke, despite her being the owner. They only deal with the former owner because it is his policy.
Her and her son have nowhere else to go. There are mould spores and E.coli in the air. She is going bald, her memory is affected, she and her son have constant, severe diarrhoea, and continuing health impacts from the dire state of the house.
This week, young Oscar, her little boy, was tragically mauled by the neighbour's dog. Brooke says she has never heard cries for help quite as loud or as harrowing as her son's shrieks of pain that day. They have been taken to Queensland Children's Hospital and need a home to return to when Oscar is allowed to leave the hospital.
In Brooke's words, she said "I just want to be able to have my baby somewhere clean and not contaminated so he can heal and not have more infections and more surgery."
Oscar suffered punctures to his head, ear and neck, Brooke held flaps of his skin together while being transported while blood spurted out of his face.
This family has been through more than enough. There is a rental crisis in QLD and this single mother cannot find or afford new accommodation. Her father is currently undergoing chemotherapy so she cannot take her child to live with her family for fear of exposing her dad to the contaminants she has absorbed living in this forsaken home. Exposure to the toxins could kill her dad so she stays away to keep him alive.
They have lived in a gazebo in their yard while this insurance claim continues to be assessed and she has no way of reselling or recovering the money invested into finding a home for her family.
Make this your good deed at Christmas and help Brooke and Oscar find a home. The family need all the help they can get, whether it be accommodation, clothing, food or financial support. You would not wish this tragedy on anyone, and certainly not on a valuable contributing member of society who has done her utmost to make this world a better place for all of us.
Let's be the miracle that this family needs to get back on their feet.
