Support Rahaf's Family in Gaza Crisis

Hello, my name is Izzy, and I am trying to help fundraise for my friend Rahaf and her family. The original organiser of this fundraiser, Casey Dubin, sadly passed away recently so I am taking over to continue her work and help Rahaf and her family.
Rahaf Al-Ghandour is a mother of five children from Gaza. The war suddenly disrupted their lives and destroyed their home. Since her husband passed away, Rahaf has been caring for her children alone. They are currently living in a tent that is unsuitable for living. So many Gazans including Rahaf and her family are facing unfair and inhumane living conditions, and they are counting on our help to stay afloat during these horrific, violent times.
"To every living conscience I am writing to you with all my pain and hope that my appeal will be met. I am a mother of 5 children. I lost my husband, my home, and everything we owned and our source of livelihood. I support my family of 6. We are now living in a tent that is not suitable for human habitation. You are well aware of the matters of life, the requirements of living, and the harsh circumstances that forced me to submit my letter to you and extend a helping hand to you. I appeal to you to help me and save me and my children. Save my family."
This is a desperate plea from Rahaf to help her family. Rahaf's eldest three children are currently missing out on their university studies due to the violence and bombings. Her younger children are also being deprived of their schooling right now.
“We live in suffering, there is no food, no shelter, no water, and the simplest requirements of life cannot be provided. We live in fear and no one feels for us. We are human beings like everyone else in the world and we die a thousand times a day.”
That’s a heartbreaking quote from Rahaf's eldest son, Mahmoud, when I asked him to share how he currently feels. The whole system is failing Palestinians including Rahaf, but we don’t have to fail her. I urge all decent and honest people of the world to engage in direct mutual aid to help support Palestinians like Rahaf, to show her that we have not forgotten about her, and we do not condone her suffering. Let’s come together to show Rahaf that our hearts are with her all across the world.
Rahaf's children are so young, and they want nothing more than to live their lives like everybody else. They don't deserve this pain and suffering. It's on us all to help relieve them of the financial burdens of survival. Funds will go directly towards supplies like food and shelter to help support the displaced family.
