My Dad’s Fight

Donativo protegido
My dad, Bill Kirschner, is an amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend. He has defied all odds since he was a little boy, being born with a heart condition. Three open heart surgery and countless other surgeries for artificial valves and pacemakers. Despite all these challenges Bill has a beautiful family, successful career, and home.

Last week we got news that my dad has endocarditis, an infection in the lining of his heart and the infection is on his artificial value. He has been hospitalized since, and IV Antibiotics are not working, and medicine based treatment is not an option any longer. It seems the only option he had is an extremely risky surgery because the infection is so bad on his valve. Bill will be transferred Friday to Cleveland Clinic or Strong in Rochester, depending on our insurance. Julie, Bill’s wife has to take a leave of absence and Bill has to file for disability.

Please donate anything you can to help support my family during this extremely difficult, stressful, and sad time. The money will be used for travel expenses, co-pays, and medical treatments not covered by our insurance. There are several months ahead of him full of uncertainty. If anyone knows my dad’s story, no one deserves help more than him. He is the best man I know and I love him with all my heart. Thank you in advance.
