Donations for Duck

On Sunday, August 6th, an extremely malnourished dog wandered onto our property and collapsed in my lawn.
Due to numerous severe miscommunication issues between the local city shelter and the emergency clinic, my only option became taking on ownership and care of the dog myself.
He was barely clinging to life, unresponsive and all organs were failing. He literally had no water in his body at all.
The vet believes this is not a case of a dog that’s been on the loose outside in the elements, but rather a situation where he was intentionally or accidentally locked in a building with no food or water and was able to escape or was dumped.
Through the help of our INCREDIBLE local community, we have raised almost $7000, which has allowed him to get the treatment, testing and hospitalization he so desperately needed.
Duck is making progress every day, however this is going to be a very long, slow road to recovery. He will need at least another couple few days of 24/7 care (about $1500 a day), then will be moved to a regular vet clinic when he’s more stable.
After all of this, it will be months of medications, special diet, therapy, etc.
Please consider donating so Duck can continue getting everything he needs to get better. Every dollar matters. Every share matters. And especially, every prayer. He needs us!
Thank you!!
