Funeral and Medical expenses

This fund was started by First Baptist Church Dadeville because we want to help the families affected by this great tragedy. Our community of Dadeville, Alabama/ Tallapoosa County was rocked by a mass shooting on April 15, 2023. Four lives were lost, four students are still in critical/serious condition, and 28 others were injured during a birthday celebration. These victims will need help with funeral and medical expenses in the days to come. These funds will be used fairly and equitably. There will be a strong check and balance procedure in place with a committee made up of city officials, clergy, school administrators, and officers of the Community Foundation of East Alabama. The Funds will be transferred to the Victim's Fund hosted/managed at First Baptist Dadeville. The committee of community leaders are tasked with distributing the funds to the 32 victims and the families of the four deceased youth. Let's love and serve in our giving.
