Spirit's Ortho-leg braces

Fundaiser for Spirit...goal $1670. Torn ligaments in both front legs one has torn the band of muscles across the ankle causing it to extend so basically she walks on her front ankles yea, eww. The braces I have now are not enough support long term and without the new ones soon we could have permanent damage, surgery for one leg is an option but she would loose mobility so the vets think the brace would give her mobility and stablize the joint for healing. It feels akward fundraising for my dog, usually I am helping to fundraise for a rescue. I thought to have a pub night but this seems like a good start. Spirit is a super active 8yr dog who dosen't know she's 8. Full of life and full of mischief she keeps very busy. However, now I can see she is not so busy and is just not her usual naughty self. The last time my insurance covered her bill, but this time they will not because its the same injury so I cancelled them. now after exhausting my funds on her injuries, therapy, medication and Vet visits, someone suggested I should try this site out. I would do anything for my fur friend so here I am. Spirit was a rescue dog with of course a sad story like most abandoned animals. I  wouldn't trade her for the world. Spirit seems to be more inclined to injure herself more than my other dogs, she seems to think she's invisible and why she gets these ligament injuries is hard to know. Could be many reasons, I have my theories but that another book. My goal here is to fundraise for at least 1 brace. I can't save up fast enough and the longer I wait to save the money, the worse the injury will get, so you can see the dilemma. We are using an older brace for now on that while the inflamation goes down.
