WELCOME!

I Dream Library  - a mixed media storytelling installation & Education Center

In 2019 AISHA KIANI (they/she) and RAKIM (he/him) launched I Dream Library™ online and in classrooms across Vancouver in partnership with the Vancouver School District. We exist to inspire change, equitable action and education standards that are accountable to 2SQTBIPoC children, families and communities.

WHAT WE DO:

Our focus is connect students, caregivers, educators & organizations with intersectional literature, customized teaching resources, and proprietary anti-racism training strategies. We work with & support diversity strategies for PAC's teachers, districts, universities & colleges, non-profits, publichers, provincial organizations and governments. We train educators to teach diverse human identities with antiracist practices in classrooms and childhood assessment entrains future generations with the kindness and values that saves lives & changes our world.

IDL is designing for K-12 Canadian Black History teaching resources, & preservice / inservice antiracism training for K-12 educators.
