Allison passed away today 3/12/2020, asking for help for the family at this time. “If I can see pain in your eyes, then share with me your tears. If I can see joy in your eyes, then share with me your smile.” – Santosh Kalwar My sister in law, Allison Cooper was originally diagnosed 2/14/2013 with stage 3 breast cancer, then in 1/2018 due to extreme pain in her hip they did scans and found that her hip/femur were nearly broken due to breast cancer spreading to bones, after all testing it was found that the cancer had spread to most of her bones, lungs, liver and multiple lymph nodes. She is being treated at the  University of Kansas cancer center in Kansas City. She is married and has 5 kids. She currently has undergone - Taxotere failed after 4 months, Doxil failed miserably after 3 months, Ibrance and faslodex combo failed after 7 months, Xeloda failed after 6 months. In the very beginning she tried Tamoxifen for a month or so but it failed She has been doing Zometa infusions from the beginning monthly which are supposed to strengthen bones.  She also takes lupron injections monthly to block hormones. She was originally  hormone + HER2- ,  she just last week did a liver biopsy and spinal fluid biopsy to see if it still the same or what it’s changed too— current  type is breast cancer with widespread bone mets, liver, lungs and lymph nodes.

My brother, Dave has had two cervical spine surgeries and is currently working on papers for SSI. He is not working at the moment, he will be home to take care of her and the kids. They need help paying for food and their everyday living expenses.

She is not ready to quit fighting, in her words "One thing is for sure I’m not in any way shape or form ready to leave this world. I haven’t had any good news to report from doctors lately. I cling to God’s Word, His Truth, His Medicine. More than anything I pray that my kids could somehow escape the cruelty of it all and that it would make them stronger, kinder, bolder more beautiful people"
