In Loving Memory of Brad Wilson
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of Brad, a loving husband, dedicated father, and cherished friend, who passed away after a courageous battle with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) on March 14, 2025, at the young age of 38. Brad was a fighter until the very end, but ALS is a relentless disease. Brad's spirit of generosity lives on via organ donation and at least 5 lives have been saved by his extraordinary gift.
Brad leaves behind his loving wife, Rachel, and their two beautiful boys, Theo and Ollie. His passing has left a huge hole in their hearts and in their lives. Throughout his illness, Rachel has been by his side, supporting him through each phase of his journey, often at the expense of her own career and well-being. The unforseen loss of income and medical expenses adds to an already devestating situation. As they navigate this overwhelming loss, we are asking for your help to ease some of the burden they now face.
How You Can Help:
We’ve set up this GoFundMe to support Rachel and their boys as they begin to rebuild their lives. The funds raised will go directly toward:
Covering Lost Income: Brad was the primary earner, and his death has created a financial strain. These funds will help replace some of the lost income and ensure the family can meet their basic needs. Rachel is now responsible for paying the mortgage on her own.
Medical Expenses: The cost of medical treatment and specialized care during Brad’s battle with ALS was staggering. We are hoping to help cover any remaining bills.
Education for the Children: One of Brad’s greatest wishes was to ensure his children could continue their education and pursue their dreams. We want to set aside funds to ensure that their academic future remains bright despite the hardship.
Funeral and Final Expenses: The unexpected nature of ALS means that funeral and end-of-life costs have added to the financial pressure. These funds will help cover those costs, allowing the family to grieve without the added worry of financial instability.
Every Contribution Counts:
No donation is too small—whether it’s $5, $50, or $500, every penny will go directly toward helping Rachel during this incredibly difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing this campaign with your network will also make a huge difference. Another request the family has is for anyone who is able to, to please donate blood or plasma. Brad had several rounds of IVIG during his ALS journey, and that would not have been made possible without generous donors.
In his final act of generosity, Brad donated his organs to help others in need. His selflessness in life and death is a testament to the incredible person he was. Now, we are asking for your help to ensure his family can continue forward with some of the same hope and love that Brad shared with everyone around him.
We want to thank everyone who has already shown their support during this painful time. Brad was loved by so many, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Your kindness and generosity mean the world to Rachel and the boys, and they are deeply grateful for each and every one of you.
Together, we can help the family find peace and stability in the wake of this tragic loss.
