Maxi - The Heart Warrior

The Goddard School of Prosper is sponsoring the fundraising for our beloved teacher Ms. Karen’s son Maximiliano’s heart surgery, see Ms. Karen’s note below:

A lot of you know me as your sweet kid's teacher. Hi, I’m Ms. Karen. I’m a mom to a heart warrior. A lot of your sweet children are friends to my son Maximiliano. He is 3 years old, is the sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. Maximiliano was born with congenital heart disease. He had congenital anomaly of aortic arch, had reconstruction on his aorta at 12 days old, now he has scar tissue that’s causing obstruction and a leak in his Aorta. On April 10 ,2023 he will fight his 2nd heart surgery battle. As we all know, these times are very tough financially and even though we wish medical insurance could cover everything, unfortunately it doesn’t. We will have a lot of expenses coming our way. Open heart surgery won’t be easy, but we know with everyone’s support we will overcome anything coming our way. He will have his surgery at Medical city of Dallas.

We are a very humble family and are knocking on your kind hearts ❤️ to help us get through this tough time. We ask that you please keep us in your prayers and hearts. As a mom it breaks my heart that my baby has to go through this, but I know he is very strong and will overcome anything coming his way.
