After nearly two weeks of continuous severe weather — including devastating tornadoes and floods —the American Red Cross is on the ground providing comfort and support as part of a massive multi-state relief effort across the Midwest and South.

Over 1,270 trained Red Cross responders have worked alongside partners around the clock to provide safe shelter, nutritious meals and emergency supplies across an area stretching from Texas to Ohio.

The Red Cross has already provided over 1,500 overnight stays in 47 shelters across seven states, along with some 71,000 meals and snacks, and over 38,000 relief items to nearly 9,000 impacted households.
