Insurance Help

On Sunday night, October 10, 2021 two masked and armed men attempted to rob me and a friend in front of my home. With only a second to react I drew my weapon in defense pointing it to the first armed man who had a gun to the woman’s head. I attempted to circle the rear of the vehicle when the second armed man drew his weapon at me and fired his weapon. I was struck twice. One bullet to my calf muscle that exited, a second one in my foot that still remains. I’m a 39yr old college student pursuing my PhD in Psychology as well as a Business professor. This unexpected casualty has left me financially burdened and I am in need of financial support. After spending 4 1/2 days in the hospital I was released only to have to return in 7-10 days for surgery. The bullet in my foot has caused my bone to be broken in seven places. It is hopes that this surgery will quickly help my foot to heal and I’ll be able to walk with no further complications. It saddens me that this has happened. Luckily I was able to protect myself and my friend. As we all know medical bills seem to increase by the minute and unfortunately insurance is not an option. Every little bit helps, and I’m praying that you see fit to sow a seed!
